Global Eye Institute of Optometry was established in the year 2005 with a view to bring the smile on thousands of faces of people suffering from the problem of blindness. Lots of activities are being carried out by NPCB (National program for control of blindness). According to reports published by WHO it has been established that one Optometrist is needed over the population of 10,000 people. So one can imagine the scope of 'Optometrist.'
This institute is the first choice of Eye Surgeon, Optometrists and other Optometry Institutions. They give proper respect and recognition to this institute. They clearly know if the student is passed out from this institute he/she must be having 'complete' knowledge of his/her profession.
This is the only Optometry Institute in Allahabad which has got its own Eye Hospital so that best practical facility be provided to our students. This institute is run under Shee Sita Ram Vaish Memorial Charitable Society which is ranked No. 1 in the whole region specially in the field of free Cataract Surgery.
